Radio & TV Personality, Youth Minister and Emcee Jamal Bates was born and raised in Columbia, South Carolina. This 2004 Little Zion Baptist Church Teen to Watch, 2009 & 2014 "Rhythm of Gospel Radio Announcer of the Year" nominee is the former host of 'Rejoice' on KISS 103.1 FM from October 2004 til May 2011.

 

In June 2011, Jamal became the host of "Saturday Night Inspirations" from 6pm-10pm on WFMV 95.3fm. August 2013, Jamal was named the local host of The Yolanda Adams Morning Show, which aired Weekday Mornings from 6am til 10am on WFMV 95.3fm in Columbia, South Carolina. This milestone was a major turning point in Jamal's career, however it was not the last point.

 

In February 2015, 'The Jamal Bates Show' was born! You can now catch him Weekday Afternoons from 3pm til 7pm on the Glory Radio Network in South Carolina (95.3 FM,  94.5 FM,  98.3 FM,  105.1 FM and Power 106)
